We had a great tidying up session in the garden today followed by making potato and leek patties with spinach pesto and feijoa lemonade.

Positive Mindset for Children

Last term Discoverer's 1 did a lot of work around having a positive mindset.  The students responded so well and said they felt more confident when presenting their work or when completing a test.  The pompom (or wotwot) making were a great example of perseverance, positive thinking, and patience (especially on my part!).  Here is something I thought may be useful at home if your child is needing a little encouragement. 😊 I especially love the awe moments journal.

Cross Country

The St Martins School cross country is being held the first Wednesday back in Week 1, Term 2.  It will be run at Hansen's Park starting around 9 am.  Families and supporters most welcome.
