Make a tourist information guide on a famous
NZ Rock or Cave Formation
Choose a famous NZ Rock or Cave formation, such as:
Frog Rock, Castle Hill, Cave Rock, Shag Rock, Moeraki Boulders, Punakaiki,
Te Anau Caves, Split Apple Rock, Birdlings Flat, Cape Reinga.

Imagine you are creating a tourist information guide to this
rock formation for visitors to NZ.

On your guide (poster) try to include interesting artwork, photos,
map, Maori name and associated myth, personal experiences
and factual/historical information on your poster.

Bring to school to share before the end of the term.

 Year 3 and 4

Reading- Students are encouraged to read for at least 20 minutes every evening. Students have all received a Sunshine Online login and password. http://www.sunshineonline.co.nz/
Maths- Students are encouraged to work on basic facts for at least 10-15 minutes every evening (StudyLadder passwords coming out week 3). 


 Year 2
