Inquiry - Health and Wellbeing Unit: Caring for our Community
During this term the Discoverers will be involved in a unit that focuses on what it means to be
part of a Healthy Community and Environment. We will also focus on building and maintaining
positive interpersonal relationships with other people. This will be especially relevant with the
changes to our school learning spaces, environment and playground/break times. As part of
learning about and caring for our local environment each class will visit Victoria Park and
participate in a lesson with the Park Ranger called Native Nurturing - Manaaki Whenua.
More information including dates to come out shortly. The cost for this will be included in our
term costs.
